Lauren Sánchez, journalist, philanthropist, and fiancée of Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, turned heads at the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscar Party. On Sunday, she arrived alongside Bezos, dazzling in a show-stopping red dress.
The daring gown, designed by Lever Couture, featured a plunging neckline and a dramatic, ruffled sheer train that cascaded down the red carpet. Sánchez complemented the outfit with nude heels and statement diamond jewelry.
Bezos Keeps it Classic, Sánchez Shines in All-Black at Pre-Oscar Dinner
The couple’s glamorous night out followed their appearance at the Chanel and Charles Finch Annual Pre-Oscar Dinner the prior day. Bezos opted for a more casual look in a grey blazer, matching trousers, and a black ensemble.
Sánchez, however, exuded elegance in an all-black outfit. Her long-sleeved dress with a plunging neckline was paired with layered chokers and bold lip color.
A Love Story in the Spotlight
Bezos and Sánchez have been a couple for over four years and announced their engagement in May 2023. The couple has been seen enjoying various events together, including New York Fashion Week, Art Basel in Miami, and Milan Fashion Week.
Sánchez is also recognized for her philanthropic efforts. She was honored for her work with the organization “This is About Humanity” which supports separated families at the US-Mexico border. During her acceptance speech, she acknowledged Bezos as an inspiration.
Sánchez’s dedication extends to her career as a helicopter pilot. She was recently awarded the Elling Halvorson Vertical Flight Hall of Fame Award, with Bezos expressing his pride on social media.
