Singer embraces the “factory settings” caused by the weather
Taylor Swift experienced a relatable moment with her fans during her second Eras Tour show in Singapore on Sunday. The 34-year-old singer acknowledged the impact of the city’s humidity on her hair, turning the situation into a lighthearted moment with the audience.

In a clip shared on social media, Swift addressed the 55,000-strong crowd saying, “As you can see, my hair has returned to its factory settings, thanks to the humidity here. I’m not complaining, I like it.”
She further praised the audience for their energy despite the challenging weather conditions. “But, I do want to commend you because it’s very humid and you guys have just turned it up 100% all night,” she said. “You’ve been dancing, you’ve been standing and taking pictures all night. And you look so cute, why am I sweating so much? Then I’m looking at you, you all look perfect,” Swift continued, making a humorous comparison between her own experience and that of her fans.
Surprise announcement amidst the lighthearted moment
While the humidity may have caused a slight change in her appearance, the concert delivered an unexpected surprise for the fans. Seated at the piano, Swift announced the fourth and final edition of her upcoming 11th studio album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” scheduled for release on April 19th.
The news was further shared on her Instagram, revealing the bonus track for this final edition titled “The Black Dog.” The post also included previously unseen artwork featuring Swift running her hands through her hair, adding a playful touch to the announcement.
This latest revelation follows the previous announcements of different versions of the album, each featuring a unique bonus track. The third edition with “The Albatross” was unveiled during the Sydney show, while the second edition with “The Bolter” was revealed in Melbourne. The first edition with “The Manuscript” was announced at the 2024 Grammy Awards when Swift received the award for Best Pop Vocal Album for her 2022 album, “Midnights.”
